I.
We pull the bell,
call them in, the ice melts further North.
The arrival of cargo, slow unload from the turboprop:
Breakdancing videos
Ipods
Coke boxed juice
Broccoli Pampers
Crush
fluorescent hunting vests pineapple
plastic farm animals
potato chips
tuna.
Vegetables in cans:
peas, corn, green beans, carrots.
Doom is an invisible loop.
It circles us. It constricts: cinctura, ring of cold stars
ring of hardened blood around the precise, deep wound.
