The 2-Day Contest
At 12:00 midnight (CST), on April 9, 2010 when Friday becomes Saturday, CV2’s list of words will be emailed to registered participants. Participants then have 2 days (48 hours) to write their best poem. Each word must be used at least once in their final submitted poem.

CV2's 35th Anniversary Contest
In celebration of 35 years of fine poetry, CV2 has created the 35th Anniversary Poetry Contest. In 2010, Contemporary Verse 2 turns the big 35, and to give our birthday a special kick we have created a contest for the occasion.
