Yes it’s true, the little magazine that could keeps on going and we would like to invite CV2 readers and contributors to help us celebrate. We would like to hear how CV2 has made a difference in your lives — poetically speaking of course.
CV2 is now accepting submissions of 1000 words or less for publication on the CV2 website.
We want to know how CV2 has impacted your experience as a reader or as a writer or both. Was it where you got your start — or your first rejection? What made you pick up your first copy of the magazine? Did you ever work for CV2? Did you know Dorothy Livesay or any other of the early editors — or later editors?
For writers, small magazines like CV2 are where most begin their publishing careers, and for readers, small literary magazines are where one often finds the best new writing especially for poetry. In celebrating 35 years of publishing, CV2 celebrates the important role literary journals and magazines have in fostering the literary arts. So if you have a story about CV2 we would like to hear from you.
For the 35th anniversary features on the CV2 website, submissions in the form of letters, articles and essays are encouraged.
We're also celebrating CV2's 35th year with a special subscription rate of $35 for 8 issues and a new 35th Anniversary contest.
What's the catch?
